On Pancake Day - Tuesday 24th February, we had the opportunity to make Fair Trade Pancakes. We used fairtrade sugar to make our pancakes and filled them with fairtrade bananas and fairtrade chocolate. We have been learning about Fair Trade products in school and found out that buying them can help people who grow bananas and other crops in different countries get better lives. Fair Trade bananas are also more eco-friendly because they don't use any chemicals or pesticides to grow them.
The panakes were delicious!
Now onto another subject! We had a Pyjama Day on the last day of half term, Friday 13th February. This was to raise money for the school council so that they can listen to children's ideas and buy new equipment for school.
