Weather in Broseley

We are going to be looking at weather in our town of Broseley in the next couple of weeks. We will collect weather data (temperature and weather type) each day from Monday 19th January for one week.

We have attached a photograph of some of us in the snow we had last week - it was very cold! We have been wondering whether you ever get snow in St. Lucia? If you are able to, it would be really interesting if the children in St. Lucia could collect some weather data for next week too so that we can compare it with our weather?

We will post our weather data on our blog once we have collected it all.

Another exciting thing to happen in our class is that we have had some stick insect eggs and two of them so far have hatched. Do you have stick insects in St. Lucia? Once they have got a little bigger, we will post some photos of them onto our blog of you to see too.

Welcome to our blog!

Welcome everyone to our class blog! We are a year 5 class at a Primary school in Broseley, Shropshire. Our topic for this term is St. Lucia, so we have set up a link with a class in a school in St. Luica. This blog will be for us to tell children there about ourselves and to show them some of our work.

Hello to all of the children in St. Lucia! Here is a photograph of most of our class, we will write in more detail about ourselves next week, and will also email you some questions which we would like you to help us to find out the answers to.

Looking forward to finding out more about you!
